As much as I like Liberman, no way in hell is he going to give up his senate seat for a partial term in a White House Administration that is unpopular, and damn near halfway through its final term. Don't do it Liberman, unless you plan on becoming republican of course.

It seems the kids are fed up with evacuees just like schools, universities, and cities around the country are. Come the end of the semester in May/June, students/families need the umbilical cord cut and either move back to New Oreleans, or move on from their temporary homes and schools. The evacuees are not the only ones harmed.

I feel for these kids because I can still imagine what they are going through based on my high school experience. The "Oh whoa is me" attidude runs really thin after awhile, and these kids educations are detrimentally effected by the double standards these hurricane Katrina "victims" are held to. This is part of the reason why there are problems at these schools, in addition to the standard liberal label that is put on everything.... "racism and prejudice", which is likely part to blame with two cultures colliding. These schools and kids should not be forced to have class sizes of 10% larger, nor should the city of Houston and their ISD's be forced to bear the total burdens of New Orleans and their kids who cannot be controlled.

While not a Coulter fan, This doesnt surprise me one bit that she invoked this reaction, this touches something much deeper. This is endemic of what liberals are all about. Liberals refuse to listen to opposing views and COMPLETELY HAVE NO DIGNITY AND NO DESIRE TO ENGAGE IN THOUGHTFUL POLITICAL COMMENTARY. While I realize she can be degrading towards liberals, YOU CHOSE TO BE THERE, and YOU GOT WHAT YOU CAME TO HEAR. But I degress. This situation was one which STUDENTS distrupted first, "chanting you suck". This is a typical reaction anything involves anything that is Anti-Liberal, Pro-Christian, Pro-Republican, Pro-Gun, anti-abortion, Pro-common sense etc.... That is Violence or disorder or pouting. If your Liberal and dont get your way, hell let's just f#!% it up for everyone else. But god forbid that you trounce on my rights or you'll get the PC commie shock troops at your door step. PFFFFT. Granted this was the 9th circuit a.k.a liberal activist judge mecca, but still, this even legally speaking is incredibile. Someone does something IN THE OPEN PUBLIC VIEW, and this judge thinks thye have a right to privacy?!?!?!

Okay, I am all for people being happy and living, loving, marrying the people who they love regardless of sexual orientation. But since when can someone be openly gay at school and public, have a right to privacy at home? This kid was being a distraction in the school environment and warned and punished repeatedly. NOW THE SCHOOL FACES A LAWSUIT BECAUSE THEY TOLD THE PARENTS OF DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS OF THEIR KID who is an ATTENTION WHORE. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE KID BEING GAY. It has all to do that she broke the rules. But hell, when I was a kid not too long ago, I wish I knew I had this right to hide from my parents that I got in trouble of school and claima right of privacy when I got in trouble. SHould I have known then, what i know now, MY PRIVACY RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED AND I COULD BE RICH!!!!

I mean come on. This is the problem with the education system today. Parents are increasingly calling on the school system to raise their kids because they dont want to do anything, BUT NO, when the school lets the parent know they punished the kid for their activities that are detrimental to the classroom environment, WE ALLOW THE KIDS TO SUE!!!!

I never want to be in the position of a public school administrator today. THese decisions just make it that much more difficult.
